Cloud services

Managed cloud services for South Florida organizations

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, planned, migrated and managed by the same engineers who run your servers and network. Support around the clock, from a team that has been doing this since 1996.

What managed cloud means

Cloud services that fit the systems you already run

Managed cloud services means a provider plans, moves and then runs your cloud platforms for you: accounts, licences, security settings, backups, monitoring and the help desk your staff call. With SNATEK, that provider is the same team that already looks after your office network, so nothing falls between two vendors.

We do not start with a product to sell. We start with what you run today and what it costs you, then move the parts that genuinely work better in the cloud. Some systems stay in the office, and we will tell you which ones and why.

Plan

A readiness assessment, a target design and a cutover schedule before anything moves.

Migrate

Phased, after-hours moves with a rollback plan written before the first cutover.

Manage

Monitoring, security, backups, licences and 24/7 support once you are live.

Platforms

Platforms we plan, migrate and manage

Five platforms, one team. Most clients run two or three of these side by side.

Migration and managed services

Microsoft 365

Office 365 migration from on-site Exchange, another host or another Microsoft 365 tenant, then Microsoft 365 managed services for the day-to-day running of Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. We set up Entra ID with multi-factor authentication and conditional access, tidy licences so you stop paying for accounts nobody uses, and handle every new starter and leaver.

  • Exchange Online
  • Teams
  • SharePoint
  • Tenant-to-tenant

Setup, migration and administration

Google Workspace

Gmail, Drive, Meet and shared calendars, set up and run properly. We move organizations onto Google Workspace, between Workspace accounts, or from Workspace to Microsoft 365 when the business outgrows it, and keep sharing settings and devices under control after go-live.

  • Drive
  • Workspace migration

Azure managed services

Microsoft Azure

Servers, file storage and line-of-business applications moved into Azure, plus Azure Virtual Desktop for teams that need a full desktop from anywhere. We size the resources, connect them securely to your office network, back them up and keep watching them once they are live.

  • Virtual machines
  • Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Hybrid networking

AWS migration and managed services

Amazon Web Services

Virtual servers, storage, databases and the networking between them, for workloads that already live on AWS or fit it best. Accounts and permissions are set up properly from day one, then we monitor performance and spending so the monthly bill stays predictable.

  • EC2
  • S3
  • Cost monitoring

Migration and management

Google Cloud

Virtual machines, storage and the identity and network settings that hold them together. A sensible home for infrastructure when your team already works in Google Workspace.

Cloud migration services

Our cloud migration process

Most migrations go wrong in the planning, not the move. Our cloud migration services follow the same six steps every time, so your staff keep working while the systems change underneath them.

  1. Assess

We inventory what you run: servers, mailboxes, files, applications, licences and how they depend on each other. You get a readiness report and an honest view of what should stay on-site.

  2. Plan

We design the target setup, including identity, security and backups, and agree a cutover schedule that avoids your busiest days.

  3. Pilot

A small group of your staff moves first. We fix whatever they find before anyone else is affected.

  4. Migrate in phases

Cutovers run after hours, one group at a time, with a rollback plan written before we start. Email and files stay reachable throughout.

  5. Validate and train

We check every mailbox, shared folder and application with your team, document the new setup and show staff what changed.

  6. Manage

After go-live, the same engineers monitor, patch and support the platform, and review licences and spending with you.

After go-live

Ongoing cloud management and 24/7 support

Moving to the cloud is a project. Running it well is a service, and it is the part most providers skip.

Monitoring, patching and help desk

Alerts reach an engineer around the clock. Your staff call the same help desk for a cloud sign-in problem as they do for a printer.

Identity, access and security

Multi-factor authentication, conditional access and admin-account controls, set up and reviewed as part of our cloud security and compliance work.

Backup and disaster recovery

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data is not protected the way most people assume. We add separate, tested backups through our backup and disaster recovery service.

Licence and cost management

We review licences and cloud spending with you every quarter and switch off what you no longer use.

Hybrid cloud services

One team for your on-site and cloud systems

Most organizations end up hybrid: some systems in the cloud, some in the office, and a few that should never move. That only works when one team can see all of it. Our cloud engineers are the same people who run your managed IT services, so the firewall, the Wi-Fi, the servers and the cloud tenant are planned together.

Cloud readiness

Is your organization ready for the cloud?

Not everything belongs in the cloud. Our IT consulting and cloud readiness assessment starts with the questions below.

Experience

Cloud experience in the public sector, healthcare and finance

We have moved and run cloud platforms for cities, clinics, insurers and international firms. A few of the projects:

Government

City of Miami Gardens

Datacenter build

Datacenter development, network engineering, tech support and cybersecurity for a South Florida city government.

Financial services

Groupe Dynamic S.A., Haiti

AWS migration

Migration to AWS and Microsoft 365, with virtualization, security and on-site infrastructure for a firm we have advised since 1996.

Healthcare

Multimed USA

Azure and Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 and Azure deployment with virtualization and managed services for an affordable healthcare provider.

Insurance

Lozano Insurance Adjusters

AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365

Cloud platforms that let adjusters serve clients and respond to disasters from the field.

Local engineers

Cloud services across South Florida

Our engineers work from Cooper City in Broward County and support organizations across Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Weston, Pembroke Pines and Hollywood, Miami-Dade from Miami to North Miami and Miami Gardens, and Palm Beach County from Boca Raton to West Palm Beach. We also support clients with offices in Haiti and the Caribbean.

Questions

Cloud services FAQ

What are managed cloud services?

A provider takes ongoing responsibility for your cloud platforms: setup, security settings, user accounts, backups, monitoring, updates and support. You pay a predictable monthly fee instead of hiring a specialist for each platform.

How much does a cloud migration cost?

It depends on how many users, mailboxes and servers are moving, how much data there is, and how the systems depend on each other. Moving a small office to Microsoft 365 is a very different job from moving a line-of-business application into Azure. We quote a fixed price after the assessment, so you know the cost before work starts.

How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?

Mainly it depends on mailbox count, data volume and the number of sites. Smaller offices usually move in weeks rather than months; larger organizations move in phases. Your assessment includes a dated schedule.

Will our staff lose access to email or files during the move?

We plan the move so they do not. Data copies in the background while people keep working, cutovers run after hours with a rollback plan, and staff get clear instructions before they sign in the next morning.

Should we use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Microsoft 365 suits organizations that rely on desktop Word, Excel and Outlook or Windows-based business software. Google Workspace suits teams that work mainly in the browser. We support both and recommend one after looking at how your staff actually work.

Is the cloud more secure than keeping servers on-site?

It can be, when it is configured properly. The large platforms invest more in physical and infrastructure security than any single office can, but most cloud incidents come from settings: weak sign-in rules, over-shared files and forgotten admin accounts. That configuration is the part we manage.

Can you manage a hybrid setup with our existing servers?

Yes. Most of our clients keep some systems on-site. We manage servers, network, firewalls and cloud platforms together, so the connections between them are planned and monitored by one team.

Which cloud platforms do you support?

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud, plus the identity, backup and security tools around them.
